BONAR TAKES KONTROL IN HOLLAND WITH A RETROFIT ON REINHARDT

Bonar, Deventer takes Kontrol with a retrofit system on one of their Reinhardt machines. The full installation on three arms with K-Kontrol, the integration with the machine PLC and programming of the machine for the optimum cycle was carried out by Bonar’s engineers. The new Maintenance Manager who was only recently introduced to the rotational moulding process saw immediately the benefits to be gained with a full time measurement system for the machines.
Darius Cramer, the Maintenance Manager at Bonar Plastics (Netherlands) who introduced K-Kontrol into the Deventer plant, said: “We are impressed by the impact of K-Kontrol on our mold processing.” He added: “K-Kontrol has helped us modify, and improve, the output process for new products; it has also dramatically reduced our scrap rates. K-Kontrol has become an essential tool for product development, helping us to monitor and evaluate complex technical challenges. We estimate that our return on investment period will be achieved within an 8-12 months period.”
